I’ve been silent for a while, hoping against hope, that the idiot-in-chief would level out and show some semblance of sanity. DAMN, WAS I WRONG! The ignorant ass and his other billionaire minions are systematically dismantling America as I have known it. And nobody in power seems to be doing anything about it!
His is the MOST corrupt administration in the history of this country. Forget the Teapot Dome Scandal, or even Watergate; this administration has consistently demonstrated a lack of ethics on a scale that would otherwise be unimaginable.
The nominees to top posts who have vested interests in the rules and regulations over which their agencies have jurisdiction, is stunningly blatant in favor of his billionaire cronies, at the expense of the American people. Pruitt at EPA, Perry at Engery, and Zinke at Interior, all who represent oil producing states/companies are now over the agencies that regulate environment rules and that are charged to protect national parks and monuments. The American people can look forward to lax regulations for oil and coal companies, which means we can expect the death of the Clean Water Act. Get ready to buy purifiers if you want clean water. I feel sure one of the idiot’s cronies owns a company that would be more than happy to sell you one. And go see Yellowstone and other western parks NOW before the land is leased for oil and coal mining or timber clear cutting.
The latest nominee, for NOAA, has long complained that what NOAA offers the American people (for free) hurts his family business, Accuweather. This is perhaps the most egregious nomination since his pick for the SCOTUS.
I’ve never had respect for this person; not since I first read about him in a People magazine article, decades ago. I thought he was an ass then and I think he’s an even bigger ass now.
His latest stunt, the executive order that guts the ACA, is further proof of his disregard for the American people. For the past five years, Congress refused to pay subsidies to insurance companies, which is part of the ACA. The subsidies were included to help insurance companies offset the cost of covering people with pre-existing conditions and people with chronic illnesses. The lack of payment of those subsidies was the reason insurance rates jumped as they did. This is why the Congress held up the subsidies, because they knew it would lead to rate hikes and they could point to those hikes as a reason to get rid of the ACA. The lawsuit over the subsidies is still pending. Now, this ass has gutted the legislation. I honestly cannot stand to look at the assholes surrounding him as he signed this piece of shit. Three times the Senate failed to repeal the ACA. Why? Because the people voting NO, were listening to their constituents! The people who want and need insurance depended on the ACA, but this administration has clearly demonstrated its lack of empathy for anyone who isn’t the idiot-in-chief. What they seem to miss, is that no one believes the ACA is perfect; but instead of offering fair and balanced alternatives, they just want to dismantle the system and try to fix it later. It seems obvious that most of the people don’t have a clue how the real world works. Clearly they do not understand the power of the positions they hold either, or they would be doing something to curtail his rampant roughshod skirting of laws Congress has passed.
Now let’s talk about ‘fake news’; it’s interesting that we never heard this term before the current whiner took office. His attack on the free press is reminiscent to the rantings of Hitler, Mussolini, Idi Amen, and other tyrants. I find it particularly interesting that the idiot-in-chief gets upset at what he calls the lies of the press, when almost every word out of his mouth is a lie and or contradiction to something he said earlier. Methinks he doth protest too much.
My greatest disappointment with this administration is the morons who continually support him. These deluded fools are too stupid for their own good. I’m past giving any of them the benefit of the doubt. They are STUPID, period! They are unable to see beyond the reality show persona for what it is. This is NOT a game show! This is our future and the future of our kids! Guess what? It’s bleak!
If something isn’t done to curb the idiot-in-chief soon, we will likely be at war with a country that is also led by an idiot-in-chief, North Korea. Two peas in a nuclear pod!
Our future includes less access to healthcare, tax breaks for billionaires, polluted air and water, less quality education, less ability to express our opinion if it disagrees with the administration’s, and no jobs, because despite the claims of the idiot-in-chief, he has not done one thing to spur job growth. Tax breaks for the wealthy do not create jobs. In fact, they allow companies to move good jobs overseas. But that is just a fact and probably something the idiot-in-chief would call ‘fake news’.
My call to action is for you contact your senators and your representative. Let them know you are not happy with the way they vote, or that you support the way they vote. Get involved with your government before the government decides for you and removes the privilege forever. The time is NOW. Tomorrow will be too late.
